As tourist season dwindles down to almost nothing for the onslaught of rainy season, Dominical gets back to it’s grass roots per se. Often referred to as the “sleepy surf village” of Dominical on Costa Rica’s southern zone on the Pacific side, this little village certainly lives up to it’s name from May thru till December.
Over the past high season, Dominical has seen a few minor cosmetic changes including the widening of the beach road so now when you are heading past Seseme Street on your way to the beach you won’t need a neckbrace afterwards. There is now two full lanes instead of the one horse trail that was there before. Not to mention the lunar sized craters that were there before have now been repaired.
The current weather has been a little cooler due in part to the latest surge of storms to hit the area. Yesterday power was out throughout the areas around Dominical for hours while ICE replaced a power pole and some other trouble spots.
Someone who seems to be fairly active in the Dominical real estate market is Casey Stamps. Casey is from BuyingCR – Costa Rica Real Estate and is credited with being the most productive agent in the entire southern zone of Costa Rica. So I would recommend that if you are interested in moving some land or purchasing it…if it’s in the Southern Zone, then there is no better person to contact than Casey himself. Check out Casey’s Costa Rica real estate blog.
Well…that’s it for this post. Sorry for the delays in posts however I have a fair number of blogs that I am responsible for and sometimes others get neglected.
